Our vision throughout the design of the scheme was to
challenge the perception of institutionalised mainstream
dementia care services, by creating a village that
embraces the individual and by providing an
environment that enriches, empowers and supports at
each stage of a Dementia sufferer’s life. Our design
included step-down care and therapy spaces easing the
pressure on inpatient hospital beds and services.
